Motor yacht crossing Biscayne Bay at sunset with the Miami skyline behind

Yacht charters in Miami, done properly.

Our home port. The fleet lives here, the crew know every sandbar, and the skyline never gets old.

Intro · Miami

Miami is home water for Global Yachts Network. From Miami Beach, our day yacht charters are built around the city at its best — calm mornings, open water, sandbars, waterfront lunch stops and the skyline at golden hour. Choose four, six or eight hours on the water, with every detail handled by an experienced crew and the itinerary adjusted around weather, tide and how you want the day to unfold.

For guests looking to go farther, Miami is also the starting point for term charters throughout South Florida and across to the Bahamas. Spend several days aboard, moving at your own pace between anchorages, islands and waterfront destinations while the crew manages navigation, provisioning and logistics.

Whether it is one afternoon or several days away, the approach stays the same: the right yacht, the right crew, and a charter planned properly from the start.

The itinerary

A day off Miami

Miami Beach barrier island + Biscayne Bay, north at top.

  1. 10:30

    Miami Beach Marina

Meet your captain and crew. Cold towels, a short brief, lines off.

  2. 11:00

    Star Island & Millionaire's Row

The slow pass the city is famous for, out through Government Cut.

  3. 12:00

    Haulover Sandbar

Anchor in waist-deep turquoise. Toys go in the water; so does everyone.

  4. 13:30

    Lunch at anchor

Catered to order — ceviche and rosé to full chef service.

  5. 15:00

    Key Biscayne

Quieter water off Nixon Beach for paddleboards, a swim, or nothing at all.

  6. 17:30

    The skyline, going gold

Back north with the sun behind the city. The best photo takes itself.

When to go

Miami charters run year-round. November through April is prime — dry, 75–85°F, glassy mornings. Summer brings warm water and afternoon storms that pass as fast as they arrive; we plan around them, and morning departures are at their best. June to November is hurricane season: we monitor it professionally and reschedule without drama when the weather says so.

Questions we get

Miami · FAQ

  • How much does a day charter in Miami cost?

Starting rates for each vessel are listed on its fleet page — most day charters begin between $2,000 and $6,500 for four hours, with superyachts quoted from $22,000. Your final quote is personal: it reflects the vessel, duration, season, and any catering or extras, and a specialist confirms it in one conversation.

  • How many guests can we bring?

Twelve, under U.S. charter regulations, regardless of vessel size. For larger groups, ask about multi-vessel charters or our event production service.

  • Do we need any boating experience?

None. Every charter is fully crewed — captain, mate, and service crew on the larger vessels.

  • What should we bring?

Swimwear, reef-safe sunscreen, a light layer for the ride home. Towels are aboard. Leave hard-soled shoes at the dock.

  • Where exactly do we board?

Miami Beach Marina. You'll receive the slip number and arrival notes with your confirmation.
